Taking some pictures on the farm

I have been out today and took a few pictures on the farm, the weather has been a little overcast at times but mostly sunny.
I have been taking images with my Canon EOS 550D with canon zoom lens ef 70 - 300 mm 1:4 - 5.6 is usm.

I have changes a couple of these images to black and white.

After a talk with Steve on Thursday we decided that i was to leave the ISO and the Shutter speed the same and change to f. aperture and see how this changes my images.

Pictures on the way to Buxton

I had to take my sister up to her boyfriends and this is on our way to Buxton and i stopped a few times on the way.

I used my Canon powershot S5IS on the manual settings all free hand.

This is Bradley wood when i took my dog for a walk children locked in the card with husband and had a nice long walk ALL ON MY OWN !!!

New Camera

I have been out and brought a new camera it a canon eos 550 d with a canon zoom lens ef 70 - 300 mm 1:4 - 5.6 is usm, Today was the first day of using it and i really feel that quite a few of the photos are over exposed and this spoils them i have chosen a few good ones and a few bad .
