Printed my final 20 images

Today i have been to Asda and printed my final 20 images only small so i can have a look at them and make sure i am happy with the final results, there are a couple of images that i am not 100 % happy with but will have to have a look at it again in photo shop and see if i can improve it.

This is going to be one of my final images i like this even though he is not looking at me. 

This was taken on Christmas day in my mums living room, this image was taken with my canon 550d with the standard lens.

Joe Cornish talk at Burton Collage

I have been to the talk at collage by Joe Cornish at Burton collage, this was very interesting and an experience.

What i have learnt from the talk was that Joe travels wide and far just to get the right shot !!!

In all of his images light plays a big part of Joe just getting the right image.

He was saying that it is very rare that he just visits a place once he keeps going back to the same place time and time again until he get the light and composition just right and this is very apparent in his images.

I also learnt that he uses a very long exposure on his images even as long a one hour !

Joe has published many books now these were on sale on the night and i could not resist and brought one !!!
